These questions can be used as an aid to assure that your project adheres to the policy briefed in clause 1.5 of the Statute Policy mandated by Defence Regulators which states;

Data shall be maintained in a format which satisfies the reporting requirements of senior management within DE&S. Auditable records shall be made and kept under review in accordance with relevant legislation.

Information management
  1. Which interested parties have been identified as needing safety related information?
  2. What format do they need it in and when?
  3. Who is responsible for providing it and where is this specified?
  4. How often does safety information need to be reviewed and where is this specified?
  5. How are changes to safety information communicated to relevant parties?
  6. How are details of safety related communications managed, recorded and archived?
Self - Assurance
  1. What internal and / or external oversight has been carried out to assure the adequacy and effectiveness of the above arrangements and their outcomes?

Environmental Impact Management

This procedure focuses on the management and reporting of high and medium priority environmental impacts associated with the project.

Continuous Review

Continuous review should ensure that outputs from all EMPs are kept up to date with overall project and other developments. A review should be part of a planned process of the revision of outputs as the project progresses in order to incorporate improved or amended information, or as the result of audit findings. This procedure assists the Delivery Team in continuous review and improvements to their projects
